Physical Therapist Appt.

I had an appointment with a Physical Therapist today because of my leg. It's been hurting really really bad ever since Disney World...and it was up in my upper/inner thigh...so my OB thought it would be a good idea to have it checked out before the baby comes...which as you know...I'm still debating allowing to have happen...
But anyways...I went in for my appointment today...and after waiting for 45 MINUTES the Dr. finally appeared and was actually really nice. I wish I clicked that well with my OB.
Anywhoo...turns out I stand the wrong way...which is what causes my shin splints....and then my pelvis had somehow gotten out of alignment so I stood crooked...and my hips and my pelvis were crooked...also making one of my legs seem longer than the other.
so...she did some funky stretches on me, taped my feet, taped my back and gave me a maternity belt. and i have to go back about 3 or 4 more times and supposedly I'll be all fixed.
As of right now however I'm just walking funny (supposedly I'm going to feel lopsided now, because I'm straight and was walking lopsided before...) and I feel like a nerd wearing a big stretchy belt around my butt.
Anyway. Thats the update....not that anyone asked for one. But I thought I'd share anyways...don't ask me why.

Hope you don't mind me commenting. This is Jennifer's sister. I felt like the biggest goober, too, wearing a maternity belt. But they work! As your baby grows, if you need a new one you can get them at Motherhood Maternity for a fair price. Once you get used to the weird feeling of all the elastic around your waist you'll really start to notice how it lifts your belly/baby off of your lower back. Think of it like a giant baby-bra! :)

I loved my maternity belt! Didn't I lend it to you? I felt like it was totally supporting my belly and women swear by them after birth for getting their stomachs back... And I'm so not surprised that you stand funny. I think I've always noticed that... Ha Ha... funny gimp with a belly bra!

You looked really funny with your belly bra. Buggy wears a belly bra, belly bra, belly bra! ha! And she walks funny...re re buggy. j/k. I am only making fun cause i don't have to do it. ;)

I always wished I would have bought a maternity belt. I know it would have been much better!
